Meet our FIKA team

My name is Puck Jager and I am the sustainable manager of FIKA. My responsibility is to make FIKA as sustainable as possible. This is a really fun job because I can work with everyone in the team. Besides, I can see all the creative ideas of other brands concerning sustainability. My goal is not only to make FIKA 100% sustainable but also to inspire other people and brands. Buy less, choose well and make it last.

My name is Myrna Aarnink and I am the marketing manager of FIKA. I am responsible that FIKA knows their consumer needs and that they are suitable for our products. I really like this because I can mediate in the wishes of the customer and FIKA’s products. Besides, I keep an eye on the competitors, trends and inspirational blogs to give FIKA its own identity. My goal is to develop a brand with FIKA that inspires people and makes them think more about the fashion industry.

Hello, my name is Jari Sanders. I’m responsible for Product Development at FIKA and I share this task with Nikos. Together we take care of the financial range plan, the quality report and we make sure that the pre-production samples meet up to the required specifications. This means that we have to communicate very well with the rest of the team to make sure that everyone’s aware of what’s going on and which choices are being made. What I like most about my task is the fact that I have to take every other role into account, which means that I get to witness the entire production process from start to finish. At FIKA, we work hard to create high quality garments with a story.

Hello my name is Nikos Kolner and i’m a product developer at Fika.
I share the tasks with Jari Sanders.
We worked together as a team on the financial plan, quality report and making sure that our pre production samples are the best that we can deliver.
The best thing about being a product developer is seeing the input from everybody at the brand and seeing the impact it has from start to finish.

HI, my name is Jill Timmermans and I am concept designer of FIKA. I’m responsible for designing he garments. I also brainstorm a lot with my collegue Sterre about the whole mood we like to see in our collection. It’s my passion to think in creative, sustainable and innovatives ways. For the future I want to show our consumers that they don’t need that much cloths if they just pick the right ones and combine them , take care of them and wear them in different ways ‘‘a designer knows he has achieved perfection not when there is nothing left to add but when there is nothing left to take away’’.

Hello, my name is Lara Veldwijk. My job within FIKA is being the garment technician. I’m mainly responsible for the pre-production & production samples of the items that will be sewn for the collection. As a garment technician, I ensure that the garments meet a design and fit that suits FIKA, especially comfortable, minimalistic and with a sustainable touch.The thing I like most about my role is the creative freedom that comes with this part and of course the fact that i’m working closely with the entire team. Only together we can ensure that we are able to get the best out of our collection!

Hi, my name is Sterre Dirkmaat, I am the concept designer of FIKA and it is my responsibility to translate new developments trends and materials into a collection. Together with Jill we translate everything that inspires us into technical drawings. What I like about this role is that i can really use my creativity and see the elaboration of our own ideas in an actual collection and Webshop. My goal is to break monotomy in the fashion world. To create something special and also make our contributions to the world we live in. So ask these question to yourself

Hi, my name is Rachel Stoeten. At FIKA I work as a Visual Merchandiser/Content Manager. My responsible tasks within the fashion brand are creative and quite challening. My main tasks are keeping the website up to date, taking care of the products photos and creating lookbooks. The best thing about these tasks is that you are creative at work and are often in contact with your colleagues. At FIKA we try to create a great brand together as one team!
